    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay as it is acting or knowing information your character should not be able to know. It can lead to events in-roleplay having unfair results, such as a planned secret raid being disrupted when no one in-roleplay could have known it would occur.

Character Age: 20
Physical Description: A young elf woman standing at 6 foot 1, weighing 130 pounds with silver hair and violet eyes. She appears very thin and always has a beaming smile.
Roleplay Scenario:

After travelling for several weeks, leaving her family village she grew up in, Maiya has moved into a new elven city in the hopes of making a name for herself. She enjoyed teaching several of the village children basic skills such as sewing and writing. Additonaly, Maiya holds a not-so-secret desire to one day publish a famous book. With nary a coin to her name, she aims to be remembered as a positive and radiant figure for generations to come. Her name, "Maiya", means 'Spirit' where she comes from.

Example: "Maiya clapped her hands, guiding the three small children into their assigned desks. "Settle down, these letters wont learn themselves." She calmly informed the eager eyes before her. With a flourish of her wrist, she began writing down the class material for them to see, speaking each letter as she wrote."
