Victor Maurice de Gontaut was born in the lands of Atlas to a decently wealthy human family. His father was a tailor and his mother a house wife who stayed home to educate Victor. He spent his childhood within the confines of the city walls of Curon before travelling to live in Holm at the age of 15. Victor took up his fathers profession as a tailor but also became overly obsessed with religion by the age of 19. He has his fathers skill with cloth work and other textiles as well as can read and write from his mothers teachings. He has no siblings and is the only child of a small merchant family.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
