Born a bastard, her mother – Mary White, unfaithful to her husband - a poor but caring farmer named Thomas White, had many an affair before settling on John Stow, a rich merchant whose morals were limited to pound and pennies. In realization of an illegitimate child, she pretends it is Thomas's and raises it as such, all the while visiting John increasingly frequently. Her daughter - North Stow (but known as North White) grows up the spitting image of her mother; dangerously beautiful, and, like her mother, becomes greedy, and tired of the farming life. One night she decides to go through her mother's possessions, in hope of finding some coin to steal, and instead finds a series of love letters from and to John Stow. Reading through them she isn't angry, or upset, as one might have thought, instead she laughs, and pockets the letters. She notices how her mother wears more and more gold bracelets, and ruby necklaces, but how Thomas's harvest gets worse and worse. When she turned 14, her greed began to consume her, and she began to despise her father for being so poor, meanwhile adoring her mother for her perusing of riches. She could wish for nothing more than to just live with her mother and John, in the grand mansion with the grand clothes and jewelry, but she knows her father would never leave her mother, as he loves her dearly. Watching her mother leave the house late at night once again she makes up her mind, she takes their bread knife, goes to her father's bedroom, and watches him silently for a few minutes. Then, she spots a gold bracelet on her mother's side table. She strolls towards it and slides it over her slim wrist. Turning back towards her father she sighs, and then stabs him thrice in the chest. She takes out the love letters and scatters them open on the bed, leaving the knife in his hand. She doesn't stay any longer to watch him bleed.

It was assumed found the letters and killed himself, his body was taken and buried, but nobody visited the grave. After this, North and her mother lived with John, getting the life they dreamed of. Despite her mother not loving her husband, she did always love North, as she was born from a rich man. John and Mary informed North of her true heritage, fearing she would be furious of her mother infidelity, but North was elated to be born of wealth rather than of poverty. She changed her surname but couldn’t completely escape her past. The townsfolk heard of the letters, and lost all friendship with Mary and, by extension, North. It became public knowledge she was an illegitimate child, after a maid let it slip, and the family was shamed upon by all the villagers. They decided it would be better if they started anew, and so they packed up their possessions and moved from Norland (where the rolling hills provided great harvest for her father) to Marna (as Mary loved to be surrounded by humans, and hates mingling with other races). When she turned 20, John died of old age, and North and her Mother inherited his wealth split between them equally. North uses the money to buy her own large house, and lives alone (not including her servants). It's the life she always wanted, however she will never be satisfied, her greatest dream is to marry a High Elf (unlike her mother she doesn't mind mingling with other races, as long s they are noble, rich, beautiful, or powerful. She continues to use her beauty to manipulate men.

Well done applicant!
Keep in mind norland

You’ll be whitelisted and implemented very shortly, you may also want to check out “ The New Player Discord ” for questions or dwell deeper into the wiki if times allow it.

While in game you can also use /atreq [message] for any assistance you might need from an Application Member or directly message me in game - /msg MadYeAd. Not to mention that /help is a very helpful command that should be utilized.
