Growing up in a small city inside the borders of the kingdom of Norland with his abusive father, Zhack gets easily beaten when frightened by some minor things. His father one time placed a spider on Zhack when sleeping and bit Zhack 23 times, causing him to be terrified of spiders. His mother died when he was born and that's why his father beats and abuses Zhack 24/7 it seems like. Zhack had to leave school at a early age do to the bar needing to be taken care of because his father did no work, always getting drunk instead. Zhack made one friend, named Anastasia. They were close friends, but later as they grew up Anastasia resented being friends with a son of a drunkard and whenever the chance to harm or hurt Zhack would do so. He kept his anger and sadness in check until he became 25 finally deciding make a life for himself and leaving his home town go to the main populated cities of Norland. Wanting to make a name for himself and overcome his fears of being hurt ever again by what he thought were people that were supposed to be kind to him.
Zhack would respond " I've come here to ready my supplies and get ready to move along, also do you know where I might find a blacksmith of some kind and the tavern to this city so that I may stay the night?". Zhack during the conversation would look around the bazaar, not moving, but observing and wonder about the culture and what the type of food they sell. he'd be fascinated by the amount of people and stalls coming from a small town.
