    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming would best be described as the player being informed of an event and acting on this information, but the character was not told why he is heading to this event without knowing the said event is happening. For example, John tells Kelly that their base is being raided over text. So Kelly hops on and races back to the base without John telling Kelly the raid is happening in game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is forcing an action and/or emote with another player without their consent. For example, like Richard stating that John takes 2 emeralds for the sword, or Richard gives John 2 emeralds for the sword.

Kovothe stumbles off the ship wrapped tightly in his cloak with the cowl pulled over his face to protect his eyes from the bright light above. " I-I am here to find myself and to discover who I truly am" Kovothe whispers breathlessly while staring in amazement at all the wonderful things. As he glances about the bright sun reflects off of a sword blinding him and causing him to reel back as pain flashes through his head.  "But first I would like to know about the nearest inn for I am weary and covered in dust and ocean mist and must bathe" Kovothe says.
