Wulf Weard started out life in a fairly humble circumstance, he was raised by a black smith father who over drank and a mother who stayed at home while occasionally helping with the neighbours farm, he was an only child so had very high expectations set for him!
He grew up in Harvest Confederation being told stories by his father of the war and it's eventualities which were shockingly brutal for a child of his age.
From pressure mounting on him by his father to make something of himself he decided to leave home and peruse a life in the city, hoping to make it rich but knowing deep down he'd have to start at the bottom of the pile.
His treck was not an easy one and on his way he was attacked by a bandit who came out of nowhere from the side-lines of the bushes but managed to fend him off after a scuffle.
He really had no idea what type of city he was aiming to reach but realised it had to be an economically vibrant hub if he was going to make his father proud and eventually hopefully lift his family from poverty.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
*his head ached from the bandits so lowered his head*, "Thank you, kind lady. *He said abruptly and quickly sat down*, "I have travelled a long distance hoping to find a city of great riches but stumbled upon this town along the journey." *He fidgets uncomfortably as his head rings* "Do you know of a near by inn I can stay in?"
