Damian was a late child.. Youngest of the three. Damian’s parents had him when they were nearing their forties.. Which is not a common occurrence.
Although Damian was the youngest, his two brothers never made life any easier.. They wished for him to taste the real world, and to learn through his own experiences.
His father was a cruel but kind soul. On the outside he was a wall, with no emotions.. However, on the inside he loved all three of his children, and their prosperity was the most important thing for him.
Damian is a born and raised Highlander, however, he never did dwell deep in to religion, to him, the most important seemed what is in the present. And he considered that the past should simply be a good story...
Although, that does not mean that Damian did not know where he came from, and who his creators are. When Damian was young, his father would sit him and his two brothers around an old dusty fireplace, and would tell them stories of their peoples’ creator.. Horen. And of the stories when they fought for years upon years defending the very land they stand on today.
Damian’s father lived up until his sixties and passed away in his sleep.. And his mother.. Well, a tough nut to crack.. It took her another fifteen years to follow her husband..
Both his father’s and mother’s death affected Damian, but deep down he knew that now they are on the Seven Skies as the he learned from his fathers’ stories..
And now, Damian is a thirty two year old man, living to serve his people and protect his city.
*Damian would straighten his posture and clear his throat before proceeding to answer the gentlemen.*
”I seek knowledge, on the known and unknown. And I believe this City holds the knowledge I seek for, but of course, aside from that an adventure or two in ones life never did any harm.. Yes, yes?”
*Damian smiled as he answered the gentleman, and then quickly after asked*
”Well, I must ask, you seem like quite an influential figure I must say...”
*Damian looked at the man from bottom to the top, inspecting his clothes, wondering what his craft may be*
