    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: for me, powergaming, is when a character does something that the others cant outdo. for example, if someone kidnaps another person, and just gives them the info the chains they used are everything-resistant, so there is absoloutly no way for the kidnapped one to somehow escape. i think its only fair if there is always some way to outdo another character, but if one person just creates some godly-like character who can overpower anyone, there is kind of no use for anyone to try to interact with them, because they cant do shi against that character. it just ruins the rp, imo.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: metagaming is looking at other people's pov's and using the information you learn from those, which your character did not hear or learn from anyone. imo, the information you can use in roleplay are the ONLY ones your in game character learned, not the ones you - as the person behind the screen - digged for. it should be avoided, because it ruins the role play in many situations, for the characters to know things they shouldnt and use them in game.

Verity never knew her true parents. As an infant, she was adopted by a brave warrior who raised her as his own daughter, though in reality, they were not related by blood.


She was raised in Asulon. Her "father," named Hanrier, owns a cabin in the forest, on the edge of the mountains. It was there that she spent her childhood and teenage years. It was there that Hanrier taught her everything she knows—how to use bows, daggers, hunt, survive.


She left that place because of Hanrier's death. He was poisoned during one of his expeditions, which he forbade her to go on, and when he returned, he announced that he had only a few days left to live. She was with him when he died. Since then, Verity has been traveling, searching for her place in the world.

Character Race: High Elf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 22
Physical Description: 5'5 tall. Pale, alabaster skin. Heterochromic eyes - one pale sapphire, one pale amethyst. Aburn-Red hair. Slim, athletic build. Scars and freckles.
Roleplay Scenario:

During her travels, Verity approaches the city of Skravia.


She is attacked in the nearby forest, and although she manages to fight off some of the attackers and escape the rest, she is so badly injured that she decides to seek refuge among the town's inhabitants.


She wants to rest there, regain her strength. Will she stay longer...?
