    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use of in game mechanics through information gathered externally to the in-game character. In opposition of playing organically, metagaming focuses on optimizing the rate of victory than the amount of gameplay enjoyment.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the equivalent of playing imaginary games with a friend as a child and claiming to have a shield that protects from all attacks followed by the other child claiming they have a weapon that goes through all shields.

Your application has been put on pending, as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows:

 

  • Your Character Biography is missing a lore reference! Please remember to include at least one! These can be major events, wars, religion, etc. Here are some links that may help you find some!
  • Your Character Biography states that your character was from a Nihilgethen tribe. This does not exist in server lore! While it is possible to create lore for new cultures on the server, please try to stick to some of our established cultural lore first! The religion is fine, though, seeing as it is a personal belief and not a group of people.
  • Your Character Biography states that your character encountered a wizard who used some type of magic! I would suggest changing this as the current magic lore for the server does not have such an ability.
  • Your Physical Description states that your character has purple eyes! This is not possible for a human. Take a look at this wiki page on LOTC Humans for more information!
  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks must include at least one significant negative trait. This can be anything that is a significant fault in their personality. Disliking a group of people (such as nonbelievers) does not count as the negative trait.
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response must include at least one action alongside your dialogue!
