He sighs, feeling out of place already. To him, it seemed that all the sights and sounds were just too much. It reminded him of his old home. He slips his pocket watch out of his pocket and checks the time. And then, wait, is that person talking to him? He turns to them and listens to what they have to say before responding "Well, I'm sure I look like no adventurer or fortune seeker. But... that doesn't sound too bad. I feel a bit behind, where those things are concerned." He stood there a bit uncomfortably. He was so surprised by the stranger's presence that he had just blurted out what he'd been thinking. "Though... I won't be going for any societal elevations." He says with a somber smile, looking up, as if remembering something unpleasant.
