Solthar comes from a dark elf city miles under the surface named menzoberranzan. Solthar was trained as a mage under Thoual Blackcrack and Solthar is now an apprentice. Solthars dad and brother were sacrificed to the spider queen. One day Solthar robbed a home and killed everyone in it and was caught he was supposed to be sacrificed to the spider queen but he ran away to the surface. At the surface Solthar met a swordsman named Drizzt(another dark elf) Drizzt was trying to run-away from the city. The learned to trust one another and soon became close friends, and so their adventure began.
