    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use knowledge that your character would not know to influence your actions, such as knowing what is behind a locked door, or another player character's true intentions.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player takes control of another player character's will to satisfy their own needs. This is most commonly used to instantly win a battle without the other player's input.

Sienna awkwardly stares at the man for a moment, before saying “oh, I am, um just looking for a quest board and an inn for the night, I don’t plan on staying in the city for long.” She goes quiet, and the two stand there for a while, until the man clears his throat and states, “ah well, if it’s an Inn you want, there will be one a few streets that way, just past the bazaar.” “Ah, thank you....” without waiting for a farewell, Sienna goes on her way.
