    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming would be giving a character knowledge it would only know from the player's perspective.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Giving a character an unreasonable amount of strength that makes all other characters irrelevant and the game rendered unfun.

He looks up at him, seeing his friendly face and returning it. Puts a hand on his shoulder and says "Why wealth of course, isn't that what we all are looking for?". " Any who, I'm starving for anything that isn't salty, dry, or fish. Know any good taverns?" As he attempts to start walking with him while waiting for a response.
