Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: So I have always loved gold, Gold has taken me many places wealth freedom and big gems and blocks of gold is what keep me going I have traveled far and wide to many places seeking out riches I come from a little village not many know of and we was always struggling to eat and fend of nasty things that came our way until one day my mother died and the villagers cast me out, Telling me that I was another mouth to feed and i wasnt picking up the slack, For my fellow dwarven man this was disgraceful we are built on loyalty, and trust to cast me out was a shameful act on their part, I took to the roads as a young lad only 13 seeking out a new place to call home but I never found one I did infact find a passion instead, My efforts in mining and sword smithing made me a treasure to certian blacksmiths in towns and villages I took a liking to the sight of gems and gold In my eyes they were more than a beautiful sight they were a means to an end, I travelled a lot until I came to these lands where I Was recently robbed by bandits of all my equipment and Items now Im here and I guess I need to Start a new as they say.
