Castor is one of a forgotten splinter group of humanity, lost between the cracks of society. This faction, often regarded as myth or legend, dwells in the Fringe between Anthos and Athera. This race have never needed a name for themselves, but are known by outsiders as many names; The Forgotten, The Boogiemen, The Lost. These people live in the shifting, ominous mountains and caves. Their skin is a dark blue-grey shade with black and blue tribalistic tattoos lacing their bodies. They possess no innate magical abilities as such but witnesses describe them as being synonymous with shadow, as their body modifications serve the dual purpose of expressing their identity and deceiving their opponent on their true nature and shaping. The Lost are natural predators and assassins, but are not suited to sunny climates like deserts. Castor left the tribe when he became an an adult in his home culture, at the age of sixteen. He wished to make his own way in the world, and forge a legacy for himself. However, he has seen the ugliness of the world in the years since, and now takes mercenary work. Castor lives by his people's moral code, which is harsh but honourable. They help the outsiders, and those unable to help themselves, but only in the direst of situations.
