Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to thegame universe outside of the game itself

This ruins rp because it can make the game really different in a bad way. Ex. 'We are  being overrun, log on and help me' A shout out to friends just for the sake of winning can ruin gameplay and cause argument and chaos.

While your strengths and weaknesses are listed under your interesting facts, your interesting facts only list "Has a worthy father." Please use your three interesting facts to reflect upon your strengths and weaknesses and how they affect your character. He may certainly have a worthy father and a few scars but what does this mean to him? How do things affect him?

Your meta gaming definition is correct and you have been able to explain to me why it affects roleplay but please do so for power gaming as well.
