Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example:
*He looks at her intruiged as she mentions she had been expecting him, though decides not to comment on it*
My story?” *he murmurs, quietly.* “It’s a rather long story, one that led me through riches, betrayal *He paused for a moment before continuing* and then finally here, to your town of rot and silence. I'd elaborate further however, my journey was not only long but also exhausting. So I'd appriciate getting some rest before revealing my "story" to a random old hag I've never met before. *He adds, smirking arrogantly, satisfied with his mockery*
And besides, if you have been "expecting me" you should already know my story, no?
