In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming could be described as a way of fail roleplay in which your character has knowledge of things that in a real situation would be impossible for they to know.
For example; right after your character revives, going to kill your killer without any way to realistically know who killed you before.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming could be described as another way of fail roleplay in which your character goes beyond the limits of reality, beyond the situation, and beyond their natural capabilities.
For example; when your character is chained in a cell, typing "He would break the chains with his hands, and with the pieces of broken metal he would slice the neck of the knight at the other side of the cell", withouth giving any chance of doing anything to the other people in the roleplay.

He was born in a small village that now is no more than a proof of a forgotten past, a proof of what humanity is really capable of doing as long as it satisfies their ideals. His parents managed to get him out of the chaos, but succumbed due to their wounds; someone found the small boy between two corpses, they looked like trying to reach him, but they couldn't, and out of pity took him to somewhere where he wouldn't see what was left.

Zudheim, as the mark in his arm said he was called, then spent most of his childhood in the local poor orphanage, he wasn't really intelligent, neither strong or wise; but he liked to watch the flowers in the garden, they didn't go anywhere, clinging to life even during the coldest winters and the strongest storms, they just existed.

When he was old enough he left the orphanage to search for a new life, but he couldn't find anything, he couldn't find somewhere where he would belong. He just walked and travelled until he reached something, somewhere, a place with a lot of flowers.

Changed Status to Pending

Your application has been put on pending, as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows:

Your Character Biography is missing a lore reference! Please remember to include at least one! These can be major events, wars, religion, etc. Here are some links that may help you find some!

Generally, Farfolk tend to have darker complexions than Heartlanders or Highlanders. That is, unless they're Easterners (the approximate equivalent of East Asians).

  • Your Character Fear must be a fear that is unique to them-- for example, everyone is afraid of death.
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is written in first person! Please make sure to write in third person while talking about your character!

If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied. When you are finished, please send me a forum PM.

If you still need help, make sure to check the wiki, and I highly recommend joining our discord and reading through the New Player Hub as well for all important links and info!
