Loki was born in a dense woodland area somewhere close to The Horde, he grew up with other deer-folk like himself, they had their own language and culture. He was a gatherer in his community, told not to speak but only to go out to the woods and gather berries and any small foods he could for his people. Though one day while he was returning to his village, he was surprised to see that the entire place look abandoned, like everyone just left in a hurry. There was no sign of life in the village so he decided to pack his things and venture out to look for them.
Along his adventure, he had faced almost death many times, scaling cliffs with just his hooves, starving with nothing but berries to eat along the way, as well as running from many predators. Through the night while he was sleeping his belongings had been stolen and he was forced to live off of what he could gather from the biomes around him, he learnt how to make small crafts out of stripped bark and leaves, making himself a little bag for berries to keep him going on his journey for his family.
In the end however, after searching high and low he could not find his deer-folk. He had given up on that point, collapsing in a new territory and spotting a Wood Elf before going unconscious. He woke up in a new home and was given food and friendship. Loki lives somewhere now in Baldian, close to the friend who found him around in the forest and decided to show him the ropes on common language and the art of the crafting table. Now he loves to construct with wood, making small trinkets to furniture to maybe even simple housing.
Loki look up upon the gentleman was nervous eyes, the stone walls and crowds of people made him tense. He pushed away his fears however and puffed out his fluffy white chest with false pride.
"I seek work! I come from far away in search of my family but it was a lost cause, friend I made in Baldium told me to come here to learn more about how to be in modern society. I am good with wood things, I build good and craft well. I can also listen for ones who need to be heard."
At the end of his words, the deer-man reached into his belt sack, pulling out a little wood carved deer, it was a simple design yet showed he was skilled in woodwork.
