The sound of clinking metal echoes along a dark trail deep within the forest. A tall yet hunched figure emerges among the trees, hooded, with only a faint glimpse of its eyes visible. Slung over its back is a large sack brimming with assorted items, and in its hand, a staff with a lantern dangling from it.
“Greetings, Adventurer. It’s dangerous to wander the forest so late… though, if you’re here, I suppose you already know that.”
The figure speaks in a calm, whispering tone as it approaches.
“Many call me Scavenger for what I do, though those who have known me longer prefer Scavy. I scour the lands of Aevos—through ruins, battlefields, or wherever fate takes me—collecting rare and peculiar artifacts.”
As it shifts the sack, the dim light reveals countless trophies from distant realms: the bones of beasts, strange weapons, and treasures of all kinds.
“If there’s something you need, Adventurer, I may just have it. But of course, everything comes at a cost. I am a collector, after all. To part with one of my treasures, I must receive something of equal worth. My collection must always remain… balanced. So then, Adventurer—shall we trade?”
Out of Roleplay:
This is the kind of role I’d like to play on the server—an itinerant merchant who roams the land, gathering artifacts and trading them with other players. I want to delve into dungeons, amass rare loot for my collection, and exchange these unique treasures with others.
