    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: metagaming is for example you know where the enemy is so you tell another town for example where the enemy is. but you actually aren't allowed to let them know
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: powergaming is the overpowering of your enemy. forcing them not not to do anything. you have control over the enemy

hey my name is Elfario.

i am a high elf from a high order and i was born in a small house in a unknown woods.

im 25 years old. and i lost my parents when i was 7 years old during a war between the Elfs and the Trolls since then i learned how to live and hunt on my own

but it also made me mentally and physicly stronger giving me the ability to survive in the harsh wilderniss.

my father always told me not to give up and that i have a special gift. when i asked him what the special gift had was he told me "you will discover it one day son." 

2 weeks and 3 days later they were killed in a Troll invasion that killed half of my town. I escaped to the secret cave underneath the hill where we stored food and supplies for if something like this happenend.

I stayed there for 1.5 week untill all the food was consumed. at that moment i didnt want to leave the cave and see the town destroyed. but my father told me never too give up. i left the cave behind and grabbed all the supplies that were not destroyed. and i continued my life in  the woods on my own. It was a difficult time because i was only 7. Then about 2 years later a high elf found me (called fabius) in my shelter that i built. i took me with him. they knew i had a special gift and trained me too become a powerfull elf. And till this day im seeking for peace between the Elfs and the Trolls.

Physical Description: he has blue eyes and blond hair. he is tall and strong. he has a nice appearence and he holds a staff in his left hand.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

- There never really was a war between Elves and Trolls

- Avoid the "My village was destroyed by (insert some evil group or being here)" as it is overused

- The skin you have provided does not match the description of your persona
