    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta gaming is where you'd taken OOC information, and had used it IC, yet your character actually doesnt anything anything about it, yet you do OOC.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is where you'd force something to happen to a character that isn't yours.

Aurora was born. She was born during a long, cold, dreadful winter. Aurora's mother died that night.. the night she was born. Aurora has three older brothers.. Finn, Jaokby, and Lynnlio. Aurora and her brothers were raised by their grandparents because their father was emotionally unstable after Aurora's mother's death.. After some time he commited suicide. Aurora's grandparents taught them to be kind, loyal, wise, honest, and brave. Aurora grew up that way.. so did the boys... but one of them went out.. made a couple of friends, and.. did some unspeakable things. Finn, the oldest.. the role model.. the perfect son.. brought Jaokby and Lynnlio into the problem.. Even though Lynnlio was hesistant, he still did it.. Which lead to the death of all involved..  ( Let's not get into that though... this is Aurora's story. ) After their deaths, Aurora had no idea what happened to them until the word spread.. rumors started up.. She realised that her brothers were never coming back.. She only had her grandparents.. her brothers were her only friends. Aurora soon feel into a state of depression, and was easily angered by everything. About two years later, Aurora got better. She smiled for often. She could say that she was happy and mean it..

 

A few years later when Aurora thought everything was fine, she had a dream.. a lucid dream. She doesn't quite remember it, but.. she does remember seeing her mother and her brothers.. she was happy in that dream.. she was able to see her family again.. but then that's when her mother and brothers faces opened up, teeth, razor sharp teeth attatched to the inside of their flesh, black goo oozing out of their opened faces. They'd rush towards her.. she screamed and that's when she woke. She was scarred for life really.. never got passed it..

As Aurora got older she kind of got passed it.. it was still there, she just didnt really think of it anymore. Aurora had grown stronger as she got older. She was smarter.. wiser.. and of course, stronger.. maybe not physically.. but she was more emotionally stable, and okay once more.

This is the Aurora we know today. A stronger, wiser, fiercer woman. She's been through a lot, and has seen some things.. She can relate to some people, which makes her easy-going, and compassionate.

Though her life may not have been as bad as others, she's been there, and she can understand what someone else is going through. 

She isn't like her father or her brothers.. She is Aurora Briar and she is proud to call herself that.

Physical Description: She'd be a petite, semi-musclur woman. She'd have shoulder length, black hair. One eye brown, the other blue, and her skin, a nice brown.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
