You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
How do you respond?
Mira’s hollow eyes open wide. “Adventure?!” she says, hardly able to contain herself, “what else can you do here? I’ll pick up whatever you put down mister!” Her eyes immediately dart over to the bazaar, completely dismissing anything the man was trying to convey. “Ooh! What’s that?” she points to a shop selling orange fabric. “I love orange! Do you like orange mister? Who cares, you should show me around, it’s what a real gentlemen would do. And walk fast!” Mira is barely letting the man get a single word in before she’s already dragging him along. She spouts, “I wanna see everything!”
