Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My story?" They take a moment to sit comfortably while gathering their thoughts, "Well, I grew up a happy child, living in Renelia with my loving family. We lived a simple life, nothing too extraordinary, but we were content. Unfortunately, when I was 8, they were all killed by a band of humans. At first... I was filled with an all-consuming rage" they pause, collecting themself. "but then all I felt was pity for them. I realized that many do not understand the importance of pacifism and empathy. They do not understand that judgment is final." They smile slightly "I aim to spread a message of kindness and love, a message that will convince many to change their ways, a message that your ancestors and mine would smile upon." they smooth down a part of their tunic. "I hope that was an adequate story"
