    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Maintaining a realistic RP and not taking advantage of any players in anyway. Also keeping in mind that not only is it a game, but you're playing with other players as well and not make sure you and the other players you're interacting with are enjoying the game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It breaks the immersion of the whole RP server and takes away any trust you had with other players. As well it creates unnecessary drama and potential unfair advantages where other players will not be able to do the same.

Physical Description: 6 foot, lean but muscular and survived in the woods for years. Sun weathered skin with dark brown hair and steel gray eyes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

You’ve been expecting me? Hmph. That makes one of us. My name’s Alden Thorne. Once, I had a home. A family. Fields to tend. That ended the day the Black Riders came out of the woods. Burned it all down—left nothing but ash and ghosts.

  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory/roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!  When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person! Example: Judy stomps her foot on the ground. “How dare you!” she screams.
