Orpheus never knew his parents and was raised by his grandmother until he was 14. At 14 years old, a war between his and another village raged on, and his grandmother sacrificed herself to protect her grandson. "Run away, Orpheus!", these were the last words of his grandmother. Orpheus ran, and ran, and ran, until he encountered a village. The village was surprisingly empty, but in a sudden, he saw a man. The man saw Orpheus and asked him why he is here. Orpheus explained, and the man guided him into another place, and he later on discovered that is was a village of mages. Orpheus was adopted by a family of mages, and stayed in the village until he was 17. When he was 17, he ran off from the village of mages to get revenge on the village that killed his grandmother. After burning it down, Orpheus found a map which pointed toward a small town, so he started travelling there to get some recources.
When Orpheus gets to the small town, he realizes that everything there is different from what he knows about. He is later on greeted by an old man, and asks him where to get food. The old man tells him: "I haven't seen you here before, are you new here?", and Orpheus tells him: "Yes, i came here from melida. (the name of the village of mages)". The old man replied: "Melida? Never heard of that place... Here, take this." The old man lends Orpheus something that they call "coins", and tells him to buy some bread.
