    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I just tend to not make my characters very strong or know lots of magic.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It can give people unfair advantages like weaknesses their character was never supposed to know about.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 19
Physical Description: Shorter than average (I'm not good at heights), around like 100 to 95 pounds (i know, small), black hair, brown eyes, usually wears useful clothes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, uh, well I.."

He'd look nervous and caught off guard, not being very good with social interaction sometimes not all the time. He would sit down and get prepared to start speaking like his life depended on it, not trying to embarrass himself.

  • Please review our Wiki’s definition of Powergaming. Your response is not quite right. Ensure to include an example in your response, think about how you should word your actions to avoid ac. If you're having a hard time writing something down/or don’t know how else to word it, contact a community member. If you need help, please feel free to reach out.
  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Try including more dialogue and interaction between your character and the hag!
