    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge to your IC advantage. For example, telling someone in discord you're being assaulted in order to have someone come rescue you.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is, for example, not letting someone do their own turn against you. Resulting in having you abuse the other person without giving them a chance to do their turn, react or fall back.

My character is currently known as Asther, a 24 year old woman who’s seeking for new beginnings.

 

Asther had a very simple past, born at home, in a wealthy family that sustained themselves out of their big farm, selling all kinds of vegetables to anyone nearby and even their own king.

Asther lived a happy life most of her childhood, being taught countless things and shown places never seen before. As she was with her family she was taught several home tasks so that she could help chores in the house, and even in the farm.

And that was Asther’s life untill she grew up, which at the age of 18 Asther started going out in looks for a job, since she wanted to help her family financially and give her family a break from so much work.

 

Asther was luckily acceepted to work as a house maid in a rich household, changing her daily tasks that she practiced at her own home to a house maid job that actually gave her a great amount of money. Enough to sustain her whole family in by itself.

Asther then to this day still works as a house maid for several rich households. Looking for new opportunities to get payed even more.

Physical Description: Asther is a young woman with a just right anatomy wearing a long blue dress, with long black hair, brown eyes, a height of 5'2'' & weighing 120 lbs.
Roleplay Scenario:

Asther dusts off her dress with her bare hands before looking up at the gentleman and replying in a quiet way...

‘’I simply seek for a place to live.’’

Asther showed no interest in speaking to this stranger, she didn’t even give him a chance to answer as Asther walked right past him without even waving a goodbye, heading inside the fortified city to begin her long upcoming journey.

Unfortunately, your application has been denied because it had too many errors. Here is some feedback on the aforementioned errors: 

 

  •  Your Character Biography is missing some lore references! Please remember to include at least two! There are many things that you can reference including but not limited to existing settlements, wars, and religions. Here are some links that may help you find some!

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short; please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Here are some questions you can ask yourself: where are they from? What was their family like? In what situation did they grow up? How did they get where they are today?
  • Your Character Biography states that your character’s family was wealthy and sold their vegetables to the nobles and the king. This is not possible; your character cannot have been renowned at all, not even through familial ties, prior to acceptance on the server.

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks must include at least one noticeably negative trait that will strongly impact your character’s way of life. Anything that can be considered a fault in their personality is acceptable.

  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is too short. It must be at least four sentences long and include at least one dialogue and one action.
