    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: grinding in a game. and putting a lot of time into a game to get better

he is a smart person (sometimes). he is very different to most of his race as he doesn't have a hatred towards impurity and half breeds. due to him look a bit different from the rest of the high elf's he was brought into this world with discrimination for looking very different from the rest of the high elves. because of his mouthy attitude a lot of the elder high elves delegated him into the ‘army’ for he got dishonourably discharged. but due to his physique many elves thought he was a half breed but he would never know about it. his magic ability is non-existent and he was normally ridiculed for it as his personality is very ‘punch first ask question later’. eventually he had been removed from his home city of Okarn'thilln. due to his curse of infidelity he doesn't think he will ever find love. due to being considered impure he was exiled. he never considered adopting a mali’aheral life due to him not being the most witty. therefore rarely being appreciated by his brethren.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
