    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts roleplay as it is often used to gain an unfair advantage in roleplay, either by disrupting a characters plot/story or being used to powergame.

Physical Description: 5'11, 165 pounds, with long wavy auburn hair usually covering her deep brown eyes. Often seen in worn gray garments adorned with flowers
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Ivy rubs her head as she averts her eyes from the old crones gaze, mind fuzzy from the pungent stench of a swamp and questioning the intent of the other woman, she manages to find her footing and attempts to recollect her memories, though this soon proves to be nearly fruitless, *  "I apologize if I intruded upon something, I was fishing and seem to have hit my small rowboat along a mangrove trees roots. My hull looks rather ghastly, though I believe i hit my head as well as my memories are quite hazy, is there an apothecary in town?"
