Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
You seemed reluctant to trust an old lady but, eventually decided to take a seat cautiously, "You know who I am?" You questioned begrudgingly. "I am here to sell my goods, ma'am. Possibly collecting information within this town." You gazed at her, despite being in a shady town, she seemed like a woman who can easily garner your trust "You see, my family were murdered by a bunch of scoundrels, thieves some may say. So I've been traveling for the majority of my youthful life, in hopes to find them through my merchandising" The wind breezes through the old tent, the candle lights flickering. "Only then will I serve the justice my family deserved."
