Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example:
"bold of you to assume I would show up" she says head held high with defiance in her eyes. "there is not much to say" Visenya mumbles as she sits with a goblet of wine held in her hand sipping at it every so often. "i was born into a noble family emotionless bastards they were, had high expectancies of me and my siblings each of them just managing to complete the tasks set for them but me? i didnt want to sew, get married to a man 3 times my age carry his spawn like a breeding mare and then die in childbirth after my 20th babe. that wasn't who i was so i trained to rid myself of feelings when my father and mother tried to stop me it didnt work i cut my hair short as a child and covered it in mud to look like a boy and carried on training. when it came to meeting my future husband on my wedding day i ran. mud covered my white dress as i sprinted through the woods into another kingdom they never found me not that they cared about me just the fresh womb they lost in producing more heirs after a few years i had explored place to place finding new quests and items to collect i steal from the rich to give to the poor a bit of a robin hood character i am. and now im here talking to a lazy old croan who has nothing better to do than listen to other peoples lifes, that enough for you?"
