As a young elf, he never a knew a family, he grew up as an orphan in a small town located near the mountains. He spent most of his time folding grass or smacking a tree with a stick. He was always teased about the large ragged scar he had had when he first was an orphan. He tried to cover it but nothing succeeded. He considered it as a "lucky mark" and later learned to ignore it.At age 20 he left the orphanage eager to start a new life. He found a brave young man by the name of Vremaneus, a strong, confident swordsman. He taught Elyor swordplay and gave him a bow, and encouraged him to learn how to use it. At night Elyor would study outside admiring the moon as it slowly flew through the sky. After a few years he had mastered the bow and swordplay. As the elf's mind grew he started to practice water evocation. He spent 6 years reaching into the void to grab a single drop of water. His success in many professions gave him confidence to travel, and learn about new languages and cultures.
