Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"You know what brings me here, hag." Entm towers over the hag, her confidence unwavering. She pulls out a monstrous head of a beast she was tasked to slay, and throws it to the hags feet. "I did what you asked, now you'll do the same." Entm takes a seat across from the head, facing the hag. "Talk."

(Entm's actual backstory!: Entm hails from Bekkrheimn, and unlike their family, doesn't resemble them with the traditional blonde hair blue eyes. Thought to be cursed by an evil magic from Jolslatra, Entm was banished from their home and cast into frigid wilderness of the island. As Entm grew older and learned to live off what the land provided, they seeked more than just mere survival. Entm craved a connection to the larger world around them and set off for the main land. Entm seeks to unify the island and uncover what secrets the island may hold, and they shall do the necessary work that is needed to do so. [This could involve learning magic, finding legendary gear, toppling empires, etc.])
