Dutrot's parents were miners and he was a only child. They lived in the mountains up north. When finally Dutrot got his hands on mining equipment he was 24 years old and got to help out his parents in their line of work.
His parents always used to say "When I see sparkle there's always gems or gold behind the shine.", so he started saying that line to sometimes. When he was almost got to adulthood at 49 years old there was a accident in the mine and it collapsed in when there was a mining team in there with his parents as well in that team. After it collapsed in they started to dig in and set up beams that can hold the sealing and so they get them out alive, this process was going for days. When they finally got to them it was already too late the whole team got crushed under the weight of the stone. The reason Dutrot is still alive is because he was sick that day. After this he mourned them for a few years, but he was still working in the mines and always checking if it was safe or not to go inside. To remember his parents he picked up that saying that they were always saying.
When he got to turn 65 he wanted to wander a bit around the world see other things and for a chance to hone his mining skills. And so nowadays he is wandering in the lands searching for a place to settle down or just find work for himself.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

"Oh, uh, Hello..." Dutrot listens to the old hag and sits on the chair that she pointed to. He look around the room and then outside for a moment and then back to the old hag. "I come from a little town up north in the mountains. As you can see I am a Dwarf who is a miner..." He grabs his pickaxe from his back and shows it to her. "Nowadays I am just a traveler who is looking to settle down, hone their mastery and make a bit of money on the side. So that's the reason why I'm here in this dingy town, but I'm just here to look around and than I'm out of here.
