    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta gaming can be defined as a lot of different things, as a DM in my dnd campaign i define it as understand or knowing something your character doesn't or having an intuition of something to come and preparing for it without the knowledge of it "in realm".
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is putting all your time into grinding a very specific thing and nothing else. you find this a lot on MMOs.

- Your roleplay scenario should only control your own character.
