    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: exaggerating your in-game characters ability to perform certain tasks and not allowing other players to defend themselves through role-play blocking

Aquilian was born in the outer skirts of the salvus region in the isles of vailor where his parents (of whom he doesnt remember) found refuge after being on the run from Caras-Eldar where they had been found guilty to high-treason and sentenced to death. during Aquilian's youth, his parents were tracked down and slaughtered by Elvish foot soldiers but alas they had already thrown the baby Aquilian into the carriage of a passing wanderer. Aquilian eventually wound up in the Dwarvish region of Kal-Akash where he dealt constantly with being an outcast of the dwarvish society, even though he was welcomed with open arms by the happy, cheerful Dwarvish population. Aquilian often pondered where and how his parents were as he could not really remember them and grew up in a Dwarvish community. A Grandmother residing in the Kal-Akash region raised Aquilian as she saw all beings for who they were on the inside, not for their race. Aquilian has a keen eye for war and is an experienced soldier, but now he spends his days on the search for answers of his past.

Physical Description: a tall, slender, pale elvish mans frame. icy-cold pale blue eyes. light skin, tinted ever so softly with green. a large scar rolling from brow to lip.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

hello guys it is me, I wrote this. but I did not have an account then. incase you were thinking of denying me as I did not have an account I now have one.

-I would like to note that if your application was posted with a forum account, this application would be put on pending, a status by which you could edit a few small things in your application and than have it accepted. Unfortunately, your application was posted with a guest account, making it impossible to edit and making putting your application on pending not viable.

 

-Caras Eldar is the current capital of elves, Vailor was a continent that was abandoned in a mass exodus roughly 60 years ago in character, with the land of Axios being settled between Vailor, and now the current land of Atlas, which was settled roughly 17 years ago in-character.

 

-Why doesnt your character have a belly button?

 

-Being able to shoot 5 arrows at once with any measure of accuracy in such a short amount of time is unfathomably unrealistic. The world record for shooting 10 arrows, one at a time at a target of moderate distance is 1 minute and 0.5 seconds. One can find a video on youtube of a current world record holder taking a great deal of time with a modern bow to shoot 5 arrows at a target of balloons at once, taking well over 3 times the time listed in your application to prepare the shot.
