    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Abusing the game system to advantage the character

Kiviel was born in Haelun’or, where he started studying at a young age with his older sister; he was interested in magic, but was still too young to apply it.
Their family left home on a long trip when he was still 40. His parents loved adventuring and passed on him and his sister their passion. They traveled from huge oceans to high mountains, trying to understand as much as they could about the other races and cultures of the world.
Eventually, his parents were too old and headed back home: this was fourty years ago. In the time he travelled with his sister, they became closer, but they realized they had different goals. His sister settled with another Elven tribe, wanting to have a family. Kiviel, on the other hand, was still drunk in excitement for the exploration.
After his 126th year, though, his mind started to change: he travelled and gained knowledge about other cultures, but knew almost nothing about his own; he spent many years gaining the courage to get back home: he now wanted to understand the magic of his people. However, and unfortunate encounter with a pack of Amber Wolves left him barely alive and unable to move for some time, which he spent in the dark elves clan that aided him.
He’s now returning home to settle and finally applying in the magic studies.

Physical Description: He wears elegant purple clothes; he has golden eyes and the hair is white, but often blue dyed. Slender and defined physique. Height 5'9", 119 lbs.
Roleplay Scenario:

“Good day to you, sir!” he said putting away his map 
“I’m here for the entertainment of discover, the excitement of gaining knowledge and money!
Also, I’m here for the food, is there a place you would kindly recommend?” he asked with a smile rubbing his hand

  • Your Roleplay Scenario response seems to be good, though you are missing an action. You would need to have an action along with the text.
  • Your Character Skin doesn’t seem to be matching up with the Lore of High Elves- The skin and clothes are both with unrealistic colors. If you need assistance with finding a new skin, I would recommend the Skin Archive!

Sorry! Be that as it may, your application has been denied because the 24 hour period as ended and because of your skin being unrealistic and such. However, you are allowed to reapply immediately as long as you follow the required changes before doing so.

  • Your Character Skin doesn't seem to be realistic enough for the Era of which LotC is in; including the fact that It doesn’t align with the High Elven racial features. I recommend you to continue and look at the Skin Archive or find another skin through other means.
