    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I would generally tell the person that it is powerplaying and that it is unfair and unpleasant to rp with or i would probably just void the person.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It breaks the fourth wall and is just really not pleasant to play with.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

 

 

 

Okay i just spent like an hour writing my thing this and it crashed, hope you understand.

Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks, or make sure to make out your actions however you see fit!

When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person!
