    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Knowing part of the story ooc and then using it within the rp to get ahead.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Over the top and incredibly deadly attacks that have the intention to kill without the other person being able to evade or dodge.

Sofia (Syn) Law Runeclaw.

Place of Birth: Riverbrook.

Syn was born on March the 13th , her parents were blacksmiths named Amelia and Jaxon Runeclaw. She is the oldest child of 3, a younger sister named Elizabeth (13) and a brother named Lucas (17.) Throughout Syn’s life she was shunned upon for wanting to explore and see what was beyond the borders of Riverbrook ever since she was around 14, she met lovely people within Riverbrook such as a woman named Tamzin who aided her and helped her to fight and to learn how to use her trusty dagger named Spirit. She was born as a Highlander and enjoyed the rush of adrenaline from living up north, she grew confident by the time she left her home when she was 16. The woman learned to speak her voice and to use her... Assets to her advantage, she was good at reading people and made a name for herself as a mercenary. She impressed people with her Arcane magic of Telekinesis, though she grew anxious. Now, she wants to make a bigger name for herself and perhaps show people that this woman, is tougher than she appears to be.

Character Age: 21
Physical Description: Silver hair, blue eyes, very slim, around 5"3, 58kg, leather gloves her torso is covered by a blue chest plate and her legs are covered by her armour.
Roleplay Scenario:

The short woman would glance up and down at the man, studying his posture whilst she put her hands on her hips. She stood proud and intrigued at the sight of the city with the gorgeous shops and stalls. Hearing the deep bellow of the man she cocked an eyebrow, looking up at him. “Here for a bit of fun, maybe for a bit of adventure as well. Or maybe I just want to make people know my name.~” She answered, her voice smooth. With that, she spun on her heel and started to duck and weave through the people occasionally stopping at a stall.

  • I’d recommend re-reading the definitions of both Meta-gaming and Power-gaming. Both of your definitions seem to be quite vague so, make sure to apply your knowledge more efficiently and try to add some examples that could be representing each.
  • Your Character Biography seems to have a great story-line, however, It lacking with regards to relevant information from LotC- It does not seem to include the mandatory (1) lore piece from the LotC Wiki. This could include, city names, religions, et cetera.
  • Your Character Biography includes a single piece that is not allowed within your application- ‘ She impressed people with her Arcane magic of Telekinesis, though she grew anxious.’ If it was not clear, I must remind you that you are not allowed to have any Magical knowledge, abilities, or items in this application.
