Dustin was born in Sutica in a relatively stable household. Along with his two parents, Akers had three brothers. Growing up, he took a large interest in science, alchemy, and the craftsmanship. Although his studies focused primarily on alchemy, Akers also learned the basics of herbs, sewing, smithing, and woodworking, but not mastering any of them. There is still much more to learn, though, even after learning from his teachers. His entrance into the trade of alchemy is recent. Dustin is yet to be humbled, and still holds sexist views on top of his large ego: will he grow to be a better person or stick to his old ways? I'll have to find out in game as they age.
Dustin wasn't immediately suspicious due to the man's well dressed nature, but it was possible the man was trying to distract him while an accomplice did used sleight of hand to mug him. Akers checked over his shoulder, and their hands fell protectively into the pockets of his jacket. "None of the above," he answered the strange man, continuing after a pause, "Look, if you happen to know where the tavern is, that would be helpful though."
