    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: well its a roleplay server so you should not say stuff about the current year or whats going on in 2025

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

i was born in a broken house my father killed my mother and i can only talk to her in spirit now 10 years later i became a crusader but when i killed my father for revenge the king threw me out and said if i ever came back i would be burnt alive

  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Etc.
  • Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks. Example: Judy laughs. “How are you doing?” 
  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory/roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!  When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person! Example: Judy stomps her foot on the ground. “How dare you!” she screams.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot apply with a mask covering your character’s face on your Minecraft skin. This is to ensure you’re aware of the rules, that the race you chose is appropriate, and that your skin matches your physical description. Once you’re accepted onto the server, you can use your masked skin. If you need help adding a face to your skin, please contact me or another community member, or you can do it yourself.
