    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: when you use info that you character wouldn't already know. ex: if you were just meeting someone and you used their name.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: power gaming can take many forms but one example is;when you give your character the ability to do something to another player assuming it's successful and not giving the other player the chance to act on it. ex: if your character pushes someone and says

--Backstory-- It was a long time ago a woman named Rena, was married to a man named, Dion. Dion had to leave for a trip and he never returned. The couple had twins named Aubree and Aiden Harris. The twins had to be as close as ever after this tragedy. The mother had some problems of her own and sent the kids away. They had to fight to find resources, shelter, friends, and a family. They knew they could never replace their parents but they had to try. They needed some sort of support system so they traveled for days on end. They eventually found a town where they settled down to have lives of their own. Hopefully one day they reunite with their mother again maybe even their father. --Character Biography-- Aubree is a little rough around the edges but deep down she's a sweet damaged girl with a lot of hurt built up inside from her childhood. She's very close to her brother not because they had to be but because they wanted to be. Aiden and Aubree are different on many levels. Aiden always chooses to see the best in people but Aubree has trust issues so she doesn't let people in unless she truly knows them in a way she couldn't ever think of. Aubree and Aiden are both extremely intelligent, they don't start trouble they end it, when they find friends they intend to keep them no matter what, and they love animals and music. Most importantly they love each other more than words.

Physical Description: Very dark brown hair that appears black but is actually brown. Big green eyes, freckles on the nose, average height/weight (around 5"8), long dress.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
