Your character has just arrived at a swampy, gloomy village. Looking around, you spot huts and cabins. It smells of rotten wood and damp moss. You crouch down and enter a ramshackle tent, lit by a series of candles floating through the air. At the back of the tent, an old witch raises her head: "What brings you to this bleak village?" She begins, then pauses to study your face: "Ah, it's you ... I was expecting you. Sit down," she points to a cushion. "Tell me your story."

So after all this time you still remember me. The truth is, after I left this village—back when it was still a place to live—I tried to explore the forest on my own. You know, ever since I was little, I was quite a curious boy and wanted to experience for myself what it was like to survive alone. Out there I met some creatures like elves and dwarves, from whom I learned a few things—from how they lived and survived, to their incredible relationships with nature.
However, a few months ago I was told that this village had been attacked by a superior race and everything was destroyed. Some died, and those who survived were enslaved. As soon as I heard that, I packed my things and came to see the situation with my own eyes, but when I arrived, I didn't believe it would be as harsh as it looks.
