Noah grew up not fitting in—too human for elves, too elven for humans. He got bullied for it, learned early that people can switch up fast.
Instead of turning cold, he did the opposite. He became open, easy to talk to… but careful.
He’ll be kind to anyone. Trust is different.
Why he adventures:
He loves exploring, but he’s broke.
So he takes jobs, travels, and gets paid doing what he actually enjoys.
Personality:
Friendly and easygoing
Curious about people
Doesn’t trust quickly
Notices more than he lets on
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
Noah pauses at the doorway, glancing around the candlelit room before stepping inside. He pulls out the chair slowly and sits, resting his arms on his knees.
“Didn’t think anyone here was expecting me,” he says, a small half-smile forming. He studies her for a second, eyes narrowing just a bit. “I’ve been moving around… no real place to call home.”
He leans back slightly, crossing his arms. “I take jobs, travel where they lead. Keeps things interesting—and keeps me fed.”
Noah exhales softly, glancing at the floating candles before looking back at her. “As for what I want…” he shrugs. “Something more than just getting by, I guess. Still figuring that part out.”
