Raised by her sister (Who is named Safiya) as her parents died at war when she was young, Anani had to learn how to look out for herself, and quickly. Consistently missing her parents, Anani looked up to them and always hoped one day she could live up to their legacy and make them proud. Slightly jealous of her friends who had vast family spread out over mutiple generations, Anani learned to value family and friendship very highly. Over the years, Anani grew stronger and developed.
She became a independent, headstrong young lady who would never take no for an answer. However, her confidence could be mistaken for something else; cockiness. Her one weakness. As her personality grew, so did her body. Over time she accumulated many marks that tell the story of her life. Across her collarbone, a scar now white from aging, caused by fights from other elves. On her wrist a small tattoo, commemorating her parents.
