    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I stick to the rules of the created world so there isn't an unfair advantage and it's not taking away from other peoples' RP experience.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It gives an unfair advantage to the person using the information that the character shouldn't know.

Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 25
Physical Description: She's around 5'3" tall, 110lbs with wine-red colored eyes. Her hair is shades of purple and she wares a wine-red dress that brings out her eyes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

She looks around warily and responds, "I'm just passing through and I need some supplies." She pauses, a bit unsettled by the hag's intense gaze. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"

  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Etc.
  • Your Physical Description doesn’t match the race you picked! High Elves cannot have purple hair, nor is dyed/unnatural hair colours allowed for your first character, just so we know that you knowing the limitations! Please refer to the Racial Hub WIKI page for more information.
