His family wasn't always the most peaceful highlander one out there and they didn't have enough for everyone to eat every day. He always insisted to help his father hunt but he would always tell him he was too young. By the time he had his 11th birthday his father took him hunting in the woods to find some deer, halfway through the trip his father took him the the side of the walking path and handed him his very own hunting knife with his father and mothers name engraved on it. He hugged his father out of joy and they soon continued on the path to hunt. This time with Korlovsky's help he and his father gathered more than enough hide and meat to last them the rest of the winter. They continued like this as korlovsky grew up (17 by this time) but soon his siblings joined and received their own knives. There knives didn't have engraving though and they sometimes got jealous of Korlovsky. On a particularly windy and snowy day Korlovsky's father and mother were still in bed, this was unlike them because they were usually up before anyone else. Korlovsky entered the room to find that their parents were ill, his parents brushed it off as a cold but he knew it was much worse. By 18 his parents only got worse and he prayed every day for them, on his 19th birthday his parents had passed in their sleep. He and his siblings were left to fend for themselves and none of them knew ow to cook so they had to learn. Korlovsky and his four other siblings ventured to hunt and eventually caught four rabbits, they figured that the youngest ones could share one and the older siblings could have a full one. The meat was tough and hard to get through but they ate it and went to bed. They had found out in the morning that the youngest sibling died in their sleep form stress and anxiety. Soon to follow the second oldest ran off one night and the other of Korlovsky's siblings died of illnesses. He prayed for all of them but nothing ever happened for his family so he just stopped worshipping his god.
