    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I avoid powergaming by keeping my actions realistic, never forcing outcomes on other players, and always giving them a chance to react. I tend to focus on fair, collaborative roleplay.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming breaks fair roleplay because it gives a character information they shouldn’t have, which ruins immersion and makes situations unfair. It takes away natural reactions and makes the story feel forced instead of realistic.

Physical Description: Harkin is 6'0 and about 190 lbs, with a strong, muscular build. He has bright green eyes, medium length brown hair, and clean, well kept appearance.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

I sit on the cushion she points to. I glance at the floating candles before meeting her eyes again. “My story?” I say quietly. I take a breath. “I’m a traveler looking for answers… things I’ve seen, things I can’t explain.” My voice stays calm as I study her. “If you truly were expecting me, then you already know I wouldn’t come here without a reason.”
