    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Information streams. I can't possibly have access to other sources of information that aren't readily available to my character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Playing with the intent to maximize influence and power over other people specifically.

Also if you wouldn’t mind sparing something to eat I am terribly hungry. Oh look at that bird. Do you think birds dream? All cozy in their little bird nest having little bird dreams.”

You’ve fleshed out what your character would say, but how would your character react in this situation? What would they be doing with their hands, their face, or their body? Integrating both actions and dialogue into your emotes is crucial on LOTC.
